Thanks EVERYONE!

Oh boy - I'm so excited - I have followers, and I have comments, and I have a whole letter from my best friend and advisor, Tank.

I check my blog pages every single day, and I LOVE it when I have comments and encouragement.  The FM printed out Tank's letter so that I could keep it by my crate to remind me that I have a whole great life ahead of me once I conquer all my maladies.   I'm still coughing and sneezing a lot and the FM consulted today with my personal physician (that's SO cool that I have my own doctor) and I started on a different antibiotic tonight to see if that helps. 

As soon as I'm well I'll be able to go on trips with the FM and see people, etc. but until I'm not contagious, I have to stay close to home and not spread my germs all over the place.  I can't wait!

I still have sort of a disgusting cold, but even though I'm still sick, I think I'm over the hump.  Today, I actually wanted to go outside and enjoy some sun and fresh air even though it was really cold and windy.  This morning, I trotted a few steps and late this afternoon, I actually ran around and played a little bit.   The FM was surprised when she put one of my coats on me - it was a little big when I wore it the first time, and was snug today, so I guess I gained more weight than she thought. That made her really happy.

No coyote tonight either - I guess that ferocious woof last night scared him off.  You were right, Tank!  I tried another one tonight at some shadows - just for practice - it felt really good to sound so fierce and strong, plus it was exciting to actually see a shadow!  Every day I see a little bit better.   The bite wounds on my face and ears are pretty much all healed and some of the scabs are coming off.  I bet in a few weeks I won't have any sign of them at all!   Even my icky ears are improving.  There's hope!!!

The FM said that I'm going to make a wonderful family member for somebody.  I'm kind and sweet, and very, very gentle.   I'm quiet and I go to the door and wait patiently if I have to go out, I keep my crate nice and neat, and I am just a wonderful guy to be around.  I really hope I have my new parents before Easter so that the Easter bunny knows where to find me.   I'd LOVE to get an Easter basket!  Wouldn't that be the greatest?  I could probably even find it if it was hidden under a bush - I'm very resourceful.
